The COBRA and COSAPI Consortium has been carrying out the construction of the Majes-Siguas hydraulic project since 2017, which consists in the execution of the irrigation infrastructure for the Pampas de Siguas, in Arequipa, Peru, including the construction of two large tunnels with a diameter of 5,00 m.
FHECOR Ingenieros Consultores has assisted the JV defining auxiliary structures like the steel frame for the initial advance of the Tunnel Boring Machine, some foundation slabs for the tunnel concrete lining transportation, foundations for water tanks, sewage treatment plants, material storage, transportation belts, etc.
FHECOR has also participated in the definition of the tunnels precast concrete segments.
